The programme complies with the requirements of the Occupational Safety and Health Management (Training of Employees, Self-Employed Persons, Members of Internal Protection and Prevention Services (IPPS), Safety Representatives, and Members of Safety Committees) Decree of 2021 (K.D.P. 238/2021) and covers the minimum mandatory training duration of 35 hours for IPPS members.
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be able to contribute effectively to the management of Occupational Safety and Health matters within their organization and prepare Safety and Health Plans for both their employer and projects undertaken by the organization as a subcontractor.
Furthermore, the 36 training hours are recognized as part of the 130 hours of training required for individuals wishing to apply for the role of Safety and Health Officer with the Department of Labour Inspection.
